This piece was for my little sisters christmas present. Im really happy with the way it turned out :) I plan to make a fair few more like this, maybe even to sell.

Wow! It's so awesome! Not to sound stupid if I do, but how exactly did you make it round? I would love to try it if I ever get the chance. I would really like to buy one if I had the money! xD

Could you be more specific? It was made round because everything turned ends up round :D
It was made in two halves from the same bit of wood. If you like I could try to describe the process, but the amount of turns, remounts and all that makes my nose bleed just thinking about it :D

Well, im looking towards making them to sell, so when i get a little better there ought to be a few knocking around :D

Ren is short for renaissance, its somewhat like a reinactment or larping......but less cheesey..........
When i was last in britian i saw a few simular things at castles we visited, i believe there is a group there for the SCA ( society for creative anachronisome)
